Transport and Machinery (T&M) are key elements in the entire mining process. These elements possess immense energies which, if released in an uncontrolled manner, can cause injuries of varying severities. The elimination of T&M related injuries remains a focus for the South African mining industry as envisaged in the 2014 Occupational Health and Safety Summit milestones.
